I have cleaned many thousands of sofas and 3 piece suites,  in the past 25 years and have  seen many DIY disasters and also problems caused by inexperienced cleaners.

So how do you decide who to get to clean your sofa or other piece of furniture ?

1.Find someone who is experienced , there really is no substitute for hands on upholstery cleaning experience.

2.There are many training courses of variable quality, but someone who has attended one or more is likely to be a competent cleaner, eager to learn and keen to achieve the best result possible.

3. Avoid the temptation to buy solely on price, upholstery cleaning is a time consuming task and a quick splash and dash cleaner is unlikely to leave you very pleased and could ruin your suite.
